About 35 airline companies operate regular flights to and from Budapest. Railway connections are excellent and there are also bus and boat connections with countries in the vicinity of Hungary. Budapest can be reached by car on motorways M1, M3, M5 and M7.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Getting to the conference venue<\/strong><br \/>\nThe conference venue is located in the Buda Castle Hall of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences: 28 Orsz\u00e1gh\u00e1z St., Budapest 1st (Castle) District:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lgk.mta.hu\/teremberles\/index.html#kapcsolat\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.lgk.mta.hu\/teremberles\/index.html#kapcsolat<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Orsz%C3%A1gh%C3%A1z+u.+28,+Budapest,+1014\/@47.503218,19.030525,14z\/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x4741dc1f5d076a2b:0x5966e159d0ed9a55?hl=hu\" target=\"_blank\">Google Map<\/a>)<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Walking:<\/strong> For all those not staying in the castle district, the congress venue can be reached by a 15-25 min walk uphill from the bank of the Danube river. Multiple different steps can be chosen. The end of the route touches touristic attractions such as the Fisherman\u2019s Bastion, Matthias Church and D\u00edsz t\u00e9r.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Public transportation:<\/strong> The venue is 3 stops away from Sz\u00e9ll K\u00e1lm\u00e1n t\u00e9r with buses 16, 16A or 116.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Taxi:<\/strong> Taxis have permission to drive in the castle district.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Driving:<\/strong> Entering the castle district by car requires special permission. For all those who come to Budapest by car, please contact the organizers for parking tips.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Internet<br \/>\n<\/strong>Free WiFi Internet Service is available<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Public transport<\/strong><br \/>\nPublic transport in the city is well-organized. Trams, buses and metro trains operate without conductors. Tickets must be purchased in advance at tobacco shops, newsstands, metro stations or at vendor machines at some tram and bus stops. Weekly and Tourist (valid for 3 day) passes allowing free travel on all means of transportation within the city limits can be bought at each metro station.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Taxis<\/strong><br \/>\nWe suggest that you use only yellow taxis equipped with a taximeter (e.g. F\u0151taxi, City Taxi, Taxi5, TaxiPlus or Buda Taxi). Beware of private cabs, especially those without a taximeter. All taxis in Budapest work at fixed rates. F\u0151taxi (+36\/1-2\u00a0222\u00a0222) is the service provider for Liszt Ferenc Airport and their cars are equipped with credit card reader POS terminal so you can pay with credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX) as well as cash! Airport to downtown costs about 6000 Ft (~20\u20ac).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Parking<\/strong><br \/>\nParking in the central districts of Budapest is available upon payment. You need to purchase a parking ticket from the vending machines on the streets. Only HUF coins are accepted. Participants are therefore advised to travel with a valid insurance package.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Electricity<br \/>\n<\/strong>Electricity in Budapest is the European standard 220 Volt with the two round prongs and generally recessed sockets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Currency<br \/>\n<\/strong>The official currency in Hungary is Forint (1\u20ac\u2248310 Ft). Although most places including small shops accept Visa and Mastercard, this is not necessary.
